CELI Research is the department of CELI
in charge of performing research at all levels, from near-to-market research and Technology Transfer to base, high risk research. The choice of structuring research at CELI as an independent unit emphasizes the central role that the company has always attributed to research activities with both the goal of keeping its solutions “state of the art” and providing innovative perspectives to its customers.
CELI Research also emphasizes the importance of creating a critical European mass on research topics such as Natural Language Understanding, Crosslanguage information management, Digital Library accessibility, Semantic Web actuation etc. For this reason we tend to privilege Europe-wide networked research and collaboration with academic/industrial partners to internal, "self contained" research.
